NSPPP Certified Auditors
A standard means little without verification. NSPPP trains and credentials a national network of independent auditors — practice consultants, experienced administrators, compliance and accounting professionals — who verify each year that a practice can produce the evidence behind its payment conduct. It is a new professional path in healthcare and dentistry, with a public registry listing and a growing base of practices required to audit annually.

Two ways a practice is audited
Verified Digital Audit — $299 flat
For practices whose systems can produce a complete digital evidence file that conforms to the NSPPP evidence standard (NS-5). The auditor reviews, tests, and signs a standardized report — typically completed within days, at a flat fee. Annual cadence.
Field Audit — hourly
For practices that cannot produce a conforming digital evidence file, an auditor conducts the review on site — typically an engagement of two to three days at the auditor's hourly rate. Items that cannot be produced are recorded as findings, with a remediation path.
Auditor applications open at program launch. Request updates to be notified when the first cohort opens.
